The Indian Armed Forces have faced an active war like situation for more than 70 years in J&K, and the North East. This is called as Counter Insurgency operations (CI ops). The Forces are led from the front by very able officers and their Jawans. While often we do hear their stories of valour and bravery from many Senior officers, it is seldom that we get a chance to hear the stories and felicitate the jawans who are also the unsung heroes.
