| Minutes of Meeting | Meeting was called to order. Jt. Secretary made secretarial announcements. Thereafter Chief Guest spoke about Happy Village. For any Happy Village we should select a village of around 500-1000 residents maximum for making it a really happy Village. Politically it shouldn’t be a hindrance Amenities would be less do we can touch every part of the development We should make a survey of the primary amenities of the village and verify them. Then we should list them out - Health, Schools, Environment, Finance training. Discuss these things with your Club and the team.Safe Drinking water. Good primary education, the distance if the school from the village. Availability of trees. Hygiene around the village. Can we use the Ganesh Mandal of that village, Use the youth power of that village. Take them in the team. We should always do the publicity of our chosen village. Happy school Water filters benches washrooms e learning. Please use your team’s skill and contact the District’s team of the Happy Village and try to fulfill that area of that necessity of that village. Do it in synergy with the other District clubs or organisations. Take help of the District Service project team in the health area and also for provision of drinking water Our club need not spend any money. How to sustain and maintain the project . There’s an RCC concept in our Dist So we have to form a committee of the non Rotarians of the village for that particular village. It runs under our Dist bye-laws. We have to install that RCC. Its a free registration but we can ask them to pay a nominal fees of ₹300-500/- from every RCC member and match it with that amount from the Club.
